Via IBN IBN a multifaceted communications organization engaged in connecting public companies to the investment community, is pleased to announce the release of the latest episode of The MiningNewsWire Podcast as part of its sustained effort to provide specialized content distribution via widespread syndication channels.

The MiningNewsWire Podcast features revealing sit-downs with executives who are shaping the future of the global mining industry. The latest episode features Chairman Kal Malhi and CEO Paul Ténière of LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR,OTC:LFLRF) (OTCQB: LFLRF) , a Canadian exploration and development company focused on gold assets in Québec’s Abitibi region.

To begin the interview, Ténière outlined LaFleur Minerals’ strategy as a near-term gold producer.

‘We’re an interesting company in the fact that we have an advanced gold project in Québec’s Abitibi Gold Belt and a nearby permitted mill,’ he said. ‘That puts us in a strong position as a near-term gold producer.’

Malhi, who is also the founder of Bullrun Capital , then detailed how LaFleur acquired its flagship assets and how the company is positioned for rapid development.

‘Two years ago, I started looking at the opportunities in the gold mining sector. I didn’t want to go and acquire a grassroots project… but I did come across a bankruptcy,’ he explained. ‘We were able to win a bid on the Beacon Gold Mill, which Monarch had invested $20 million into upgrading. It’s fully permitted and ready to rock. We also acquired a nearby gold deposit called the Swanson Gold Deposit… We’ve turned that project into LaFleur Minerals. Now, with gold prices surging, the economics have changed phenomenally — and we may look at producing not just from our own property, but also from others in the region.’

Ténière closed by emphasizing LaFleur’s accelerated timeline and production-ready infrastructure.

‘We have a mining lease at Swanson, which allows us to get into production much faster than we could otherwise,’ he said. ‘With gold hitting over $3,000 an ounce, it makes a lot of these deposits very economically viable… It’s an exciting time to be in gold, and we’re in a great position to move quickly.’

Join IBN’s Stuart Smith for a conversation with LaFleur Minerals Chairman Kal Malhi and CEO Paul Ténière on restarting gold production in Québec, scaling a district-scale asset, and accelerating into the gold producer category.

CoTec Holdings Corp. (TSXV:CTH)(OTCQB:CTHCF) (‘CoTec’) and Mkango Resources Ltd. (AIM:MKA)(TSXV:MKA) (‘Mkango’) are pleased to announce a feedstock supply and pre-processing site share agreement between global electronics recycling company, Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions, LLC (‘ILS’), and HyProMag USA, LLC (‘HyProMag USA’ or the ‘Project’) (the ‘Supply Agreement’).

  • ILS will secure and store neodymium iron boron (‘NdFeB’) feedstock from hard disk drives (‘HDDs’) and other sources for HyProMag USA at the ILS pre-processing sites in Williston, South Carolina and Reno, Nevada (the ‘ILS pre-processing sites’) in advance of the commissioning of HyProMag USA’s advanced stage rare earth magnet recycling and manufacturing plant to be located in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas (the ‘DFW Hub’)
  • ILS will utilise the INSERMA ANOIA SL (‘Inserma’) ‘3rd generation’ HDD magnet separation system at its pre-processing sites. An exclusive agreement was signed between the HyProMag Group and Inserma in September 2024[i], and the Inserma technology is being rolled out across multiple jurisdictions
  • The improved Inserma units provide fast, efficient magnet separation from HDDs for Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap (‘HPMS’) processing together with clean separation of the printed circuit board for immediate resale to 3rd parties
  • HyProMag USA is, inter alia, targeting HDD recycling geared to the growth of hyperscale data centers, which is expected to accelerate significantly in coming years
  • HyProMag USA will include the ILS pre-processing sites in its detailed design and engineering. The ILS pre-processing sites will be able to source multiple feed types to provide supply feed to the Project’s magnet recycling and manufacturing hub in Dallas-Fort Worth. Other NdFeB feedstock sources being successfully processed to date by HyProMag include rotors from electric motors, wind turbine magnets, speaker assemblies and MRIs
  • The Supply Agreement is expected to be the first in several supply agreements to be entered into by HyProMag USA as the Project advances to construction and commissioning

ILS is a global electronics recycling company processing electronic waste. It is a full-service IT asset disposition, electronics recycling and scrap purchasing company and is fully compliant in ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ‘Responsible Recycling R2v3 Recycler’ at its USA locations. Through ILS, HyProMag USA will provide full traceability on its products to support the ‘closed loop’ circular economy and critical mineral supply chains within the United States.

The collaboration builds on the relationship established between ILS, HyProMag Limited (‘HyProMag’) and the Magnetic Materials Group (‘MMG’) at the University of Birmingham (‘UoB’) through a number of European projects, including the 2020 Innovate UK[ii] grant funded project, ‘Rare-Earth Recycling for E-Machines’ (‘RaRE’) project with Hydrogen Processing of Magnet Scrap (‘HPMS’) in which HyProMag produced sintered NdFeB magnets from ILS feedstock, and HyProMag continues to work closely with ILS across multiple jurisdictions.

Julian Treger, CoTec CEO commented:

We are very excited to partner with ILS to grow the feed supply market in the United States and this collaboration is a first step in securing reliable long-term feed supply for HyProMag USA to sustain the Project as we advance towards construction. We believe that over time we will be able to build sufficient feedstock to sustain several magnet recycling and manufacturing hubs as the Company establishes itself as a key player in the US REE magnet industry.’

‘HyProMag USA is progressing with its financing and detailed design and has the potential to supply the U.S. market with a sustainable, long term domestic supply of NdFeB permanent magnets, enabling the creation of secure, low carbon and traceable rare-earth supply chains.

Will Dawes, Mkango CEO commented:

The agreement with ILS, coupled with the Inserma and HPMS technologies, creates a highly competitive and integrated circular solution for recycling of NdFeB from HDDs, encompassing procurement of HDDs via ILS, pre-processing using Inserma technologies, magnet liberation using HPMS and short-loop magnet manufacturing to produce a high value rare earth NdFeB magnet with a very low carbon footprint. Furthermore, the agreement kick-starts operations on the ground, securing NdFeB inventory in advance of commissioning of the DFW hub, and will facilitate increased engagement in USA markets as we move towards project development.’

Graham Davy, ILS CEO, commented:

‘We are delighted to be formalising our longstanding partnership with HyProMag. Lifecycle Solutions will be using our infrastructure to procure nationally rare earth material from government, manufacturing, and businesses as well as other recycling sources. Our clients value HyProMag’s short-loop, low carbon solution whist retaining critical materials within the USA. Lifecycle Solutions will use its R2 accredited facilities in South Carolina, Nevada, to acquire and preprocess Rare Earth material for HyProMag USA. Magnets recovered from its subsidiary hard disk drive business will also be supplied.’

HyProMag USA Feasibility Study

The Feasibility Study includes the DFW Hub, and two pre-processing facilities located in South Carolina and Nevada respectively[iii]. In March 2025, HyProMag USA announced the expansion of the detailed engineering phase to include three HPMS vessels[iv] and that it was initiating concept studies for further expansion and complementary ‘Long Loop’ recycling[v]. The DFW Hub’s annual production is expected to be 750 metric tons per annum of recycled sintered NdFeB magnets and 807 metric tons per annum of associated NdFeB co-products (total payable capacity – 1,557 metric tons NdFeB within five years of commissioning) over a 40-year operating life. It is expected the production facility will provide significant optionality to supply the U.S. market with additional NdFeB alloy powder while assisting in revitalising the U.S. magnet sector with the creation of 90-100 skilled magnet manufacturing jobs.

In March 2025, HyProMag USA announced the results of an independent ISO-Compliant product carbon footprint study which confirmed an exceptionally low CO2 footprint of 2.35 kg CO2 eq. per kg of NdFeB cut sintered block product.[vi]

Ownership

HyProMag USA is owned 50:50 by CoTec and HyProMag Limited. HyProMag Limited is 100 per cent owned by Maginito Limited (‘Maginito’), which is owned on a 79.4/20.6 per cent basis by Mkango and CoTec.

About HyProMag

HyProMag is commercializing HPMS recycling technology in the UK, Germany and the United States. HPMS technology was developed at the Magnetic Materials Group (MMG) at University of Birmingham, underpinned by approximately US$100 million of research and development funding, and has major competitive advantages versus other rare earth magnet recycling technologies, which are largely focused on chemical processes but do not solve the challenges of liberating magnets from end-of-life scrap streams – HPMS provides this solution.

Questcorp Mining Inc. (CSE: QQQ) (OTCQB: QQCMF) (FSE: D910) (the ‘Company’ or ‘Questcorp’) is pleased to further update shareholders on the on-going surface exploration in preparation for drilling at the La Union Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico. Questcorp has an option to earn a 100% interest from Riverside Resources Inc. (‘Riverside’) in the 2,520 ha (25 km sq) property by making a series of cash payments and share issuance and incurring exploration expenditures.

Questcorp President & CEO, Saf Dhillon stated ‘The Riverside technical team continues to de-risk the upcoming 1500 metre mid-August maiden drill program through detailed surface mapping and sampling. The discovery of multiple stacked thrust faults in the main mineralized area has significantly enhanced the potential of the project. Management continues to be impressed with the excellent work and progress being made with prudent management of exploration dollars’.

Riverside continues with surface exploration in advance of the mid-August diamond drill program. The key finding of the work to date has been the identification of stacked thrust faults in the mineralized area which may significantly enhance host rock volume and mineralization potential. Mapping has also identified previously unmapped intrusive bodies within the property which may act as additional sources of mineralized fluids and subsequently addition potential manto type mineralization.

Rock and soil sampling continues with numerous samples dispatched to the laboratory for analysis. Results are expected in the coming weeks. Drilling contractors have toured the site with the contract soon to be finalized. A bulldozer has commenced road maintenance in preparation for the drill program.

The La Union Project

The La Union Project is a carbonate replacement deposit (‘CRD’) project hosted by Neoproterozoic sedimentary rocks (limestones, dolomites, and siliciclastic sediments) overlying crystalline Paleoproterozoic rocks of the Caborca Terrane. The structural setting features high-angle normal faults and low-to-medium-angle thrust faults that sometimes served as mineralization conduits. Mineralization occurs as polymetallic veins, replacement zones (mantos, chimneys), and shear zones with high-grade metal content, as shown in highlight grades of 59.4 grams per metric tonne (g/t) gold, 833 g/t silver, 11% zinc, 5.5% lead, 2.2% copper, along with significant hematite and manganese oxides, consistent with a CRD model (see the technical report entitled ‘NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Union Project, State of Sonora, Mexico’ dated effective May 6, 2025 available under Questcorp’s SEDAR+ profile). These targets also demonstrate intriguing potential for large gold discoveries potentially above an even larger porphyry Cu district potential as the Company’s target concept at this time.

Questcorp cautions investors that grab samples are selective by nature and not necessarily indicative of similar mineralization on the property.

The technical and scientific information in this news release has been reviewed and approved by R. Tim Henneberry, P. Geo (BC), a director of the Company and a ‘qualified person’ under National Instrument 43-101 – Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects.

Newmont (TSX:NGT,NYSE:NEM) has deployed drones and a remote-controlled scoop to help rescue three workers trapped underground since Tuesday (July 22) at its Red Chris gold mine in British Columbia.

The incident occurred during work on a non-producing section of the mine’s underground development project.

According to the company, the three contract employees were initially located more than 500 meters beyond the site of the first collapse. They were directed to relocate to a designated refuge chamber before a second fall of ground sealed off the access way and disrupted communication.

“Following the first event, contact was established with the individuals and confirmation was received that they had safely relocated to one of multiple self-contained refuge bays,” Newmont said in a July 23 media statement. “The refuge stations are equipped with adequate food, water and ventilation to support an extended stay.”

The mining company confirmed that it is using aerial drones to assess underground conditions, while a remote-controlled scoop has been deployed from Newmont’s Brucejack mine, also in British Columbia, to begin clearing the estimated 20 to 30 meters of debris obstructing the tunnel.

Communication with the trapped miners remains severed after the second collapse, but the company said the men are believed to be sheltering in a chamber designed to support up to 16 people.

Operations at Red Chris have been suspended to focus entirely on rescue efforts. The company said that it has activated emergency protocols and assembled specialized rescue teams from nearby mine sites.

While the full extent of the damage underground is still being assessed, the use of unmanned equipment is intended to reduce risk to emergency personnel while the area remains geotechnically unstable.

Newmont has not provided an estimated timeline for reestablishing contact or extracting the workers, but emphasized that all available technology and expertise are being brought to bear.

The Red Chris mine, located roughly 80 kilometers south of Dease Lake and more than 1,000 kilometers north of Vancouver, is operated by Newmont under a 70-30 joint venture with Imperial Metals (TSX:III,OTC:IPMLF).

The operation has been producing since 2015, though the incident occurred in a non-producing development zone.

Last year, Red Chris produced approximately 40,000 ounces of gold — making it one of the smaller contributors in Newmont’s global portfolio. The company acquired its majority stake in the mine through its 2023 purchase of Newcrest Mining, which previously managed the asset.

The stock market feels like it’s holding its breath ahead of Big Tech earnings. The first two days of the trading week were mostly quiet, but Tuesday gave us a few nuggets worth chewing on.

The S&P 500 ($SPX) squeaked out another record close, up by a modest +0.06%. It’s barely a blip, but it keeps the uptrend intact.

Tech momentum slowed down a tad, but we didn’t see a wave of selling. It was more like a little profit-taking after a strong run. No reason to hit the panic button just yet.

StockCharts Tip: Head to the Market Summary page and take a glance at the Market Factors panel. On Tuesday, Large-Cap Growth and Large-Cap Momentum were the only factors in the red (see image below).

In the US Sectors panel in the Market Summary page, Technology was the lone S&P 500 sector that finished lower. Tuesday’s action can be seen in the StockCharts MarketCarpet of the S&P 500, based on a one-day performance.

The big names — NVIDIA (NVDA), Microsoft Corp. (MSFT), Amazon.com (AMZN), Meta Platforms (META), and Broadcom (AVGO) — were all in the laggard camp. This pause in tech stocks comes right before a wave of Big Tech earnings.

Some of the big tech companies reporting earnings this week are Alphabet, Inc. (GOOGL), Tesla, Inc. (TSLA), and International Business Machines (IBM). All three report on Wednesday after the close. If GOOGL and TSLA come in hot with solid numbers and upbeat guidance, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite ($COMPQ) could catch a tailwind. (Fun fact: both stocks closed higher on Tuesday.)

Despite Tuesday’s tech wobble, major support levels are holding. The Nasdaq Composite remains comfortably above its 20-day exponential moving average (EMA), and breadth is improving (see chart below).

We’re also seeing small-cap stocks rising. When small-caps participate in the market’s upside move, it’s an indication of a healthy stock market. Healthcare stocks represent a significant portion of the small-cap indexes, which explains why Health Care was the top-performing sector on Tuesday.

Another area that stole the spotlight was homebuilders. The SPDR S&P Homebuilders ETF (XHB) broke above its 200-day simple moving average (SMA), a positive sign for the struggling industry group (see chart below). Its Relative Strength Index (RSI) indicates that momentum is relatively strong.

FIGURE 4. SPDR S&P HOMEBUILDERS ETF (XHB). The ETF broke above its 200-day simple moving average, and momentum is relatively strong. XHB has underperformed SPY over the last year. Chart source: StockCharts.com. For educational purposes.

Over the last year, XHB has lagged the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY) by roughly 18%. Strong earnings from DR Horton, Inc. (DHI) and PulteGroup, Inc. (PHM), however, have given the group a welcome boost, even with a soft housing backdrop. We’ll get the June Existing Home Sales data on Wednesday. A stronger-than-expected report could add fuel to XHB’s rally.

StockCharts Tip: The XHB chart above is part of the  Market Summary ChartPack, which is free for StockCharts subscribers. Install it, and you’ll have a ready-to-use list of charts for days like this.

Also worth a peek is the U.S. Dow Jones Home Construction Index ($DJUSHB), which topped the Dow Industries list (check the US Industries panel in Market Summary and hit the Dow Industries tab).

Gold and Silver Nudge Higher

While tech cooled and home builders heated up, precious metals prices climbed higher. Gold ($GOLD) rose 0.92% and silver ($SILVER) gained 0.94%. Gold sits just under its all-time high, and silver is back to levels we haven’t seen since 2011.

The Big Picture: Still a Healthy Market Environment

None of Tuesday’s actions suggests a crack in the market’s growth story. We are in the thick of earnings season, and that always brings uncertainty and volatility. Expectations are high for Big Tech, especially in light of a weaker dollar. Stay patient, watch the price action, and let the charts guide your next move.

Perth, Australia (ABN Newswire) – Altech Batteries Limited (ASX:ATC,OTC:ALTHF) (FRA:A3Y) (OTCMKTS:ALTHF) is pleased to announce an update on funding of the CERENERGY(R) sodium-chloride solid-state battery project in Saxony, Germany.

DEBT PROCESS

As previously mentioned, Altech has engaged ten commercial banks and two venture debt funds in the first round of financing discussions, receiving largely positive initial feedback. Based on this feedback, the Company has selected a preferred financial institution- a European bank with a proven track record in providing debt funding for technology-driven projects, particularly those within the innovation sector.

Although the mandate has not yet been formally executed, Altech intends to make an official announcement once this step is complete.

Meanwhile, the bank’s commercial and technical teams have been diligently conducting a comprehensive review of the Cerenergy projects and its technology. The technical due diligence process is critical for ensuring that the project meets the bank’s financing and risk criteria. As part of this process the onsite Altech experts are in detailed discussions with the bank’s representative. The banks have visited Dresden and the Fraunhofer testing facilities and visit Hermsdorf, Germany where the prototype production is located in the coming weeks, which will be a key step in concluding the technical evaluation.

In parallel with these efforts, Altech is progressing discussions for securing a federal government guarantee, which would further strengthen its ability to secure the necessary debt funding for the project. Officials from the Ministry of Finance have already been briefed on the initiative, and the due diligence process for the application is actively underway. This federal guarantee will serve as an underwriter and therewith derisk any debt funding for the project substantially.

EQUITY FUNDING

In parallel with ongoing debt financing efforts, the Group has engaged several equity advisers to assist in securing the equity component of the project’s funding package. As part of this strategy, Altech plans to divest a minority interest in the project to one or two strategic investors. This partial divestment is intended to attract investors who can contribute not only capital, but also strategic value, aligning with the CERENERGY(R) project’s long-term goals of growth and sustainability.

The Group on one hand is specifically targeting large utility companies, data centre operators, investment funds, and corporations that are deeply committed to the green energy transition and on the other hand industrial partners with access and know-how and resources relevant to Cerenergy battery production, implementation or market access. These potential partners are seen as ideal due to their strong alignment with the project’s sustainable energy focus and their ability to provide significant financial support. Progress in equity discussions has been promising, with several Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) signed, enabling deeper engagement with prospective investors. Additionally, draft term sheets have been circulated to interested parties, outlining the key terms and conditions for investment. These documents provide a foundation for negotiations and facilitate more detailed discussions around the equity stake and partnership structure.

The decision to divest part of the project is strategically aimed at easing the Company’s financial burden while bringing in experienced partners who can contribute to the project’s success. By securing both equity and debt financing, Altech aims to finalize the full funding package, ensuring the timely construction and commissioning of the CERENERGY(R) battery plant. Moving forward, the focus will be on advancing these discussions and converting interest into formal commitments, which are critical for the project’s progression.

GRANT APPLICATIONS

Altech has been actively applying for various grants offered by the State of Saxony, Federal Government of Germany, and the European Union. The State of Saxony and Brandenburg, along with the European Union, offer substantial support for renewable energy projects, including grants aimed at converting lignite coal to renewable energy sources. These grants are part of broader efforts to transition regions dependent on fossil fuels toward sustainable energy solutions. Altech’s site, located in these areas, stands to benefit from various funding programs designed to support clean energy projects, including EU grants for energy transformation and innovation. Altech has applied for several of these grants to advance its CERENERGY(R) project, securing essential financial backing for technology development, high-tech industries, expert employment and infrastructure upgrades.

OFFTAKE ARRANGEMENTS

Altech has secured three key Offtake Letters of Intent (LOIs) for 100% of its CERENERGY(R) production.

1. Zweckverband Industriepark Schwarze Pumpe (ZISP): An agreement was signed on 13 September 2024 for ZISP to purchase 30 MWh of energy storage capacity annually, consisting of 1MWh GridPacks, for the first five years of production. The purchase is contingent on performance tests and battery specifications meeting customer requirements.

2. Referenzkraftwerk Lausitz GmbH (RefLau): A second LOI was executed with RefLau, a joint venture between Enertrag SE and Energiequelle GmbH. RefLau will buy 30 MWh of CERENERGY(R) storage n the first year, increasing to 32 MWh annually for the next four years. Additionally, Altech will purchase green electricity for its planned production plant.

3. Axsol GmbH: A third LOI was signed with Axsol, a leading renewable energy solutions provider. Axsol will exclusively distribute CERENERGY(R) batteries to the Western defense industry, facilitating early market entry and sales. These agreements are crucial for financing and advancing the CERENERGY(R) project.

  •

Dan Stuart, President and CEO of Juggernaut Exploration states    The Big One is arguably one of the most significant new grassroots gold-silver discoveries in the Golden Triangle in recent years. This year’s program is designed with a clear objective: to systematically advance and expand upon our five inaugural, drill-ready targets and to generate additional new targets for our fully funded 2026 maiden drill program. The sheer scale of the system, with over 200 mineralized veins exposed at surface by glacial abatement, all point towards a powerful, district-scale mineralizing engine at depth. A Notice of Work application (drill permit application) has been submitted to the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals in preparation for the 2026 inaugural drill program. We have only just started to scratch the surface on the property and likely only seen the tip of the iceberg.’

ELDORADO PORPHRYRY SYSTEM – 11 KM HIGHWAY OF GOLD – HIGHLIGHTS

  •

Eldorado consists of a   high-grade polymetallic gold-silver zone named Highway of Gold that stretches 11 km and remains open on newly exposed bedrock   along the fringes of the Geology Ridge icefield and Decker Creek glacier

  •

  •

Eldorado demarks an   area of 7.5 Km   of recently exposed bedrock containing substantial propylitic alteration, hydrothermal veining, and epithermal veining with 200 quartz-sulphide veins up to 8 m wide containing semi-massive to massive chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena with grades up to 79.01 g/t Au (2.54 oz/t Au) and 3157 g/t Ag (101.5 oz/t Ag),   that remains open

  •

  •

The polymetallic veins, alteration signature, geochemical path finder element signature, and geophysical anomalies strongly indicate the presence of a   common buried gold-silver-copper rich porphyry feeder source at depth   responsible for the extensive high-grade veining confirmed on surface

  •

  •

The newly exposed Eldorado system   contains 200 veins over an area of 1.2 km by 800 m that remains open. Within this zone, veins up to 8 m wide and striking up to 500 m were observed (Whopper vein), containing semi-massive to massive chalcopyrite, sphalerite and galena,   indicated to be the source of historic high-grade gold-silver angular float samples reported in the 1960s in the valley below. Both the zone and the system remain open and are drill ready.

  •

The Big One property is situated in a region that is well known for hosting world class precious metal and porphyry deposits, several of which occur near the property including the multiple Tier 1 porphyry systems at Galore Creek (12,159 million pounds of copper, 9.438 million ounces of gold, 174.086 million ounces of silver), the world’s largest known gold reserve at KSM (47.3 million ounces of gold, 160 million ounces of silver, 7.32 billion pounds of copper) and the polymetallic copper project at Shaft Creek (5 billion pounds of copper, 3.7 million ounces of gold, 16.4 million ounces of silver), as well as the Brucejack high-grade epithermal   gold deposit (14 million ounces of gold, 91.8 million ounces of silver), and the structurally controlled high-grade hydrothermal gold-silver zones at Trophy and Sphal Creek. The property geology is favorable to host these types of deposits as confirmed by the presence of extensive areas of propylitic alteration, untested geophysical anomalies, strong silt, soil and rock geochemistry including path finder elements directly related to porphyry systems, key structures and textures, porphyry-style mineralization, and high-grade polymetallic veins, that have been discovered within the Big One claims.     BigOne Property Map

The Big One property can be accessed year-round via helicopter from the Glenora/Telegraph Creek Road at the Barrington Mine (33 km to the north-northeast) as well as the Galore Creek Road (15 km to the southeast). The Canadian government committed $20 M to extend/improve the Galore Creek Road to within 15 km of the Big One property. The property is 2 km west of the Scud River airstrip used in the early days of Galore Creek.

A Notice of Work application (drill permit application) has been submitted to the British Columbia Ministry of Mining and Critical Minerals in preparation for the 2026 inaugural drill program. The Big One property exploration qualifies for the Critical Mineral Exploration Tax Credit (CMETC).

Grab, channels, chip and talus samples were collected by foot with helicopter assistance. Prospective areas included, but were not limited to, proximity to MINFile locations, placer creek occurrences, regional soil anomalies, and potential gossans based on high-resolution satellite imagery. The rock grab and chip samples were extracted using a rock hammer, or hammer and chisel to expose fresh surfaces and to liberate a sample of anywhere between 0.5 to 5.0 kilograms. All sample sites were flagged with biodegradable flagging tape and marked with the sample number. All sample sites were recorded using hand-held GPS units (accuracy 3-10 meters) and sample ID, easting, northing, elevation, type of sample (outcrop, subcrop, float, talus, chip, grab, etc.) and a description of the rock were recorded on all-weather paper. Samples were then inserted in a clean plastic bag with a sample tag for transport and shipping   to the geochemistry lab. QA/QC samples including blanks, standards, and duplicate samples were inserted regularly into the sample sequence at a rate of 10%.

All samples are transported in rice bags sealed with numbered security tags. A transport company takes them from the core shack to the Paragon Geochemical labs facilities in Surrey, BC or ALS labs facilities in North Vancouver, BC. Paragon Geochemical is certified with both AC89-IAS and ISO/IEC Standard 17025:2017. ALS is either certified to ISO 9001:2008 or accredited to ISO 17025:2005 in all of its locations. Samples submitted to Paragon received gold and silver analysis by photon assay whereby the entire sample is crushed to approximately 70% passing 2 mm mesh. The entire crushed sample is riffle split and weighed into multiple (300-500g) jars that are submitted for photon assay. Photon assay uses high-energy X-rays (photons) to excite atomic nuclei within the jarred samples, causing them to emit secondary gamma rays, which are measured to identify and quantify the metals present. The assays from all jars are combined on a weight-averaged basis. At ALS samples were processed, dried, crushed, and pulverized before analysis using the ME-MS61 and Au-SCR21 methods. For the ME-MS61 method, a prepared sample is digested with perchloric, nitric, hydrofluoric, and hydrochloric acids. The residue is topped up with dilute hydrochloric acid and analyzed by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry. Overlimits were re-analyzed using the ME-OG62 and Ag-GRA21 methods (gravimetric finish). For Au-SCR21 a large volume of sample is needed (typically 1-3kg). The sample is crushed and screened (usually to -106 micron) to separate coarse gold particles from fine material. After screening, two aliquots of the fine fraction are analysed using the traditional fire assay method. The fine fraction is expected to be reasonably homogenous and well represented by the duplicate analyses. The entire coarse fraction is assayed to determine the contribution of the coarse gold.

Nevgold Corp. (‘ NevGold ‘ or the ‘ Company ‘) ( TSXV:NAU,OTC:NAUFF) (OTCQX:NAUFF) (Frankfurt:5E50 ) is pleased to announce extremely positive antimony (‘Antimony’, ‘Sb’) metallurgical testwork results at its oxide gold-antimony Limousine Butte Project (the ‘Project’, ‘Limo Butte’) in Nevada, one of the world’s prolific mining jurisdictions.

The positive antimony metallurgical recovery results, that have minimal to no impact on gold recoveries, are a key development in unlocking the substantial gold-antimony potential of the Project, highlighting its promising prospects for further exploration and development.

   Key Highlights

  • Extremely positive antimony metallurgical testwork results from drill core and surface oxide gold-antimony samples including (Table 2):
  •

  •
    • Acid Leaching indicating antimony extraction recovery between 75% and 92%
    •

    • Sulfidized Flotation indicating antimony recovery between 61% and 78%
    •

    • Core samples were from both Resurrection Ridge and Cadillac Valley, the two most advanced gold-antimony target areas at the Project
    •

  •

  • Acid Leaching and Sulfidized Flotation will be advanced into the next stage of metallurgical testing and trade-off engineering studies
  •

  •   Two plus 20-kilogram composite samples of both drill core and surface samples were used for testwork outlining a representative sample of the oxide gold-antimony mineralization at the Project

Summary of Antimony Metallurgical Testwork Program
The gold-antimony zones at Limousine Butte are typically associated with silicification and the formation of jasperoid breccias within the Pilot Shale unit, which is the primary host rock for Carlin-type gold-antimony mineralization in the area.

Two plus 20-kilogram composite samples were sent to the Kappes, Cassiday & Associates laboratory (KCA) in Reno, Nevada, for initial antimony recovery metallurgical test work. The core sample was composed of material from the Resurrection Ridge and Cadilac Valley target areas (Figure 1) ranging from 64 meters to 377 meters deep. The surface outcrop sample was taken from several outcrops in the historically mined Golden Butte pit, and the nearby Nevada Antimony Mine prospect (Figure 1). Both the surface and core samples contained antimony oxide with minor antimony sulfide minerals. Head assays for the composites are summarized in Table 1.

US Executive Order – Announced March 20, 2025
The Company is pleased to report the recent, sweeping    Executive Order     to strengthen American mineral production and reduce U.S. reliance on foreign nations for its mineral supply . Antimony (Sb) has been identified as an important ‘Critical Mineral’ in the United States essential for national security, clean energy, and technology applications, yet no domestically mined supply currently exists.

The Executive Order invokes the use of the Defense Production Act as part of a broad United States (‘US’) Government effort to expand domestic minerals production on national security grounds. As it relates to project permitting, the Order states that it will ‘identify priority projects that can be immediately approved or for which permits can be immediately issued, and take all necessary or appropriate actions…to expedite and issue the relevant permits or approvals.’ Furthermore, the Order includes provisions to accelerate access to private and public capital for domestic projects, including the creation of a ‘dedicated mineral and mineral production fund for domestic investments’ under the Development Finance Corporation (‘DFC’).

This decisive action by the US Government highlights the urgent need to expand domestic minerals output to support supply chain security in the United States. This important Order will help revitalize domestic mineral production by improving the permitting process and providing financial support to qualifying domestic projects.

   Importance of Antimony
Antimony is considered a ‘Critical Mineral’ by the United States based on the U.S. Geological Survey’s 2022 list (U.S.G.S. (2022)). ‘Critical Minerals’ are metals and non-metals essential to the economy and national security. Antimony is utilized in all manners of military applications, including the manufacturing of armor piercing bullets, night vision goggles, infrared sensors, precision optics, laser sighting, explosive formulations, hardened lead for bullets and shrapnel, ammunition primers, tracer ammunition, nuclear weapons and production, tritium production, flares, military clothing, and communication equipment. Other uses include technology (semi-conductors, circuit boards, electric switches, fluorescent lighting, high quality clear glass and lithium-ion batteries) and clean-energy storage.

Globally, approximately 90% of the world’s current antimony supply is produced by China, Russia, and Tajikistan. Beginning on September 15, 2024, China, which is responsible for nearly half of all global mined antimony output and dominates global refinement and processing, announced that it will restrict antimony exports. In December-2024, China explicitly restricted antimony exports to the United States citing its dual military and civilian uses, which further exacerbated global supply chain concerns. (Lv, A. and Munroe, T. (2024)) The U.S. Department of Defense (‘DOD’) has designated antimony as a ‘Critical Mineral’ due to its importance in national security, and governments are now prioritizing domestic production to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Projects exploring antimony sources in North America play a key role in addressing these challenges.
